We are a growing, established residential service business seeking a strong leader who can motivate, grow, train, and oversee the electrical department. The electrical department manager will ensure excellent customer satisfaction by estimating, coordinating, and managing projects and staff effectively. Work Hours: M - F, some nights, and some weekends

Office Location: Virginia Beach

Pay Scale: $80,000 base pay + bonus plan (this position can earn a SIX FIGURE annual income!!!!)

Required Skills

• Min 3 years of recent Residential Electrical leadership experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
• High School diploma or equivalent

Essential Job Duties

• Efficiently schedule jobs and manage a team to complete electrical projects< Securiguard is looking for a skilled Billing and Receivable Specialist to join the finance team in our offices located in Burnaby. Billing and Receivable duties include ensuring accuracy and efficiency of operations, processing and monitoring incoming payments, and securing revenue by verifying and posting invoices.

This is a full-time position with extended health and dental benefits.
Start date: As soon as possible!
The Day to Day

• Complete billing for weekly, bi-weekly, semi-monthly & monthly clients
• Communicate with clients and resolve billing discrepancies
• Liaise with internal departments regarding client billing issues
• Prepare weekly AR Aging reports
• Process work orders and set up job codes
• Hybrid work schedule once training is complete.
• Other duties as assigned by the Controller or VP of Finance.
• Cross train in Accounts Payable
• Keep track of costs and billing for large projects
• Respond to customers inquiries in a timely manner
• Send payment reminders and account statements to overdue customers
• Work collaboratively with other members on the Finance Team. This may include sharing duties, providing coverage, and adjusting responsibilities given volume of work.
• Follow up payments with a consistent effort

What You Bring

• Customer service orientation and negotiation skills
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices and collection regulations
• Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and Outlook
• BS degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration
• 3+ years of experience in billing and receivable management
• Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records.
• Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Hands-on experience in operating spreadsheets and accounting software.
• Excellent communication skills.
