Required:education and industry experience in a related field. This may include red or blue seal electricians, electrical technologists, and electrical engineers.

Required:Experienced and knowledgeable in reading engineering drawings.

Represent Paralynx in meetings, ensuring that project requirements and objectives are captured and communicated to the team.

Preferred: 1 to 3 years of industry experience in project coordination.

Excellent English language communication skills, both verbal and written.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; combination of relevant education and experience considered in lieu of degree

3+ years of project management and estimating experience in the electrical industry

Report regularly to management team

Coordinate closely with project management

Manage day-to-day activities of assigned projects

Schedule and attend field walk-downs with customers, subcontractors, and construction personnel to understand and determine constructability requirements

Previous Foreman and Project Management experience carrying multiple successful projects from start to completion

Coordinating change management as required with the appropriate tracking and communication

5 + years of previous experience working as an Electrical Project Manager, ideally with a thorough understanding of multi-family project workflows

3-5 years’ experience in the construction industry complete with electrical engineering and building construction skills

Experience in drafting practices for electrical and mechanical building systems

Knowledge of construction equipment and techniques, drawings and specifications and building material

Excellent communication, planning and organizational skills

Work with and prepare detailed diagrams, plans, drawings, reports and presentations

Coordinate, assess, and organize the work of various electrical projects

Electrical Industrial experience (medium voltage)

Advantageous to have knowledge on Grinding Mills (MCC’s, Motors, Transformers etc)

Experience in evaluating foreign equipment to ensure it meets CSA Standards

Experience in maintaining quality policies

Extended Healthcare Plan (Medical, Disability, Dental & Vision)

3+ years of project experience

Computer proficiency required (e.g. Microsoft Office products)

Engineering, tech, trades, or construction background required

Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality and communicate recommendations to management.

Proven experience as a Project Manager in the electrical contracting industry.

Proficient in project management software and tools.

Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements and expectations.

Experience with project or construction management software is an asset.

Provide related administrative support to Project Managers, Project Teams, and Site Superintendent.

Aid Project Managers in the organization and distribution of project related documents and drawings from manufacturers, suppliers and subcontractors.

Some preparation of pre-qualification packages for the division.

Previous experience working in the construction industry, particularly field work would be a strong asset.

Experience with construction project estimation would be an asset.
