About Your New Role

Herschel Supply is looking to appoint an EDI Specialist to join our growing organization. Sitting within the Sales Operations team, you will play a key part in supporting selling activity for the Herschel brand in the North American market. You will work directly with external sales reps and dealers to drive new business, while closing the sales loop through distribution, working with multiple departments including Warehouses, Operations/IT, Marketing, and Finance. In addition, you will oversee and assist with seasonal sales needs and objectives, procedures, and reporting.

Our workplace is dynamic, supportive, and entrepreneurial in spirit. We pride ourselves in being a collaborative, open-minded and imaginative team. On a day-to-day basis, the EDI Specialist will provide support to North America teams at the intersection of Operations, IT and Sales.

Responsibilities will include:

• Work with technology teams to develop or configure systems
• Establish relationships with technical staff at our trading partners
• Working with systems, data, external partners to ensure all EDI transactions flow through in a timely and correct manner
• Ability to understand both business and technical aspects of working with major’s accounts
• Test and coordinate rollout for any changes
• Establish new or modify existing processes so that transactions move smoothly
• Management of EDI transactions with our major accounts and 3PLs
• Strategize with Sales on business tools improvement

About You

• Understanding of EDI transactions including 810,850,860,180,856,940 and 945
• 2 years of experience in an EDI environment using enterprise systems
• Previous experience ERP & B2B Sales platforms is an asset (Blue Cherry, NuOrder and Krunchbox)
• Excellent organization, planning and scheduling skills
• Ability to foresee deadlines and plan accordingly
• Experience in an omni-channel businesses
• Excellent communication and coordination with internal and external team
• Attention to detail and strong ability to problem solve
• Strong proficiency in Excel
