Document Specialist – Remote role

We are currently looking for a Document Specialist for one of our clients in the insurance industry.


What is in it for you:

  • Hourly salary of $21.00 to $22.50, based on experience.
  • 03-month contract.
  • Work schedule from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. from Monday to Friday, with the possibility of occasional overtime. Flexibility in start and end times may be necessary on occasion.
  • Full-time (37.50 hours per week).

Responsibilities:


Process Conversion


  • Maintain a logical, organized, traceable and transparent method of operation to convert process and process related assets (attachments like files, links, videos).
  • Share insight, experience, and ideas to improve and refine the conversion process.
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and quality of process content.
  • Convert process content (documentation and maps) from a cloud-based system into our future state Microsoft-based solution.


Project Management


  • Manage time and effort to meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly conversion objectives.
  • Effectively collaborate and partner with key stakeholders.
  • Continuous Improvement during the project.
  • Analyze process data to estimate, plan and schedule work.
  • Provide clear, regular, and measured communication and updates on completion status.
  • Recognize and communicate issues and complexities that may arise in process conversion.


What you will need to succeed:


  • Capability to manage large amounts of information accurately and diligently.
  • Experience with cloud-based platforms or technology.
  • Ability to self-manage time and resources.
  • Good communication skills to share timely status updates, articulate challenges, or solutions.
  • High achievement motivation to see completion of work that may be high volume or repetitive.
  • Experience with desktop applications like Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Prior exposure to project management methods: Waterfall, Agile.
  • Experience in Human Resources (HR) or handling sensitive and confidential information.
  • Attention for detail, quality and standard.
  • Experience in an operational environment.
  • Completion, or working towards completion of post-secondary education.
  • Experience authoring, maintaining, or using regulated documentation like Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Curiosity and a growth mindset.
  • Organizational skills.
  • Familiar with communication platforms: Zoom, MS Teams
  • Experience with handling large volumes of data and information.
  • Experience managing or participating in a large-scale project.
  • Proficient in BPM Software as a Process Manager.
  • Honesty and Integrity.
  • Competent in MS Office 365 applications
