Job Description

We are currently looking for a Dispatcher/ Logistics Coordinator to join one of our clients in Cambridge. This is a fully-onsite permanent position with fantastic benefits and growth opportunities.
  • Previous construction industry experience is preferred and a huge asset.

  • Competitive hourly rate of $23-25/hr, based on experience
Responsibilities
As the Dispatcher/ Logistics Coordinator you will be responsible for:
  • Liaise with multiple departments to ensure smooth operations
  • Completing all administrative tasks on time and accurately
  • Assigning and dispatching transportation activities
  • Communicating with truck drivers and coordinating pickups from various sites
  • Responsible for changing the status of all equipment pickups to successful or unsuccessful (training will be provided on software)
  • Ensuring routes are assigned and delivered as scheduled
Qualifications
  • Background in construction equipment is an asset
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams)
  • High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time
  • Mathematical aptitude is an asset
  • Must be flexible and adaptable to the work requirements
  • Previous dispatch or logistics experience is a huge asset
  • Must have strong communication skills and the ability to multitask
