Director, Programming
Contribute to skills and opportunities development for young people and veterans!
Are you an experienced programming leader who is passionate about supporting youth and veterans? Do you have experience building and overseeing skill development, career exploration, employment and/or entrepreneurship programming? Do you want to contribute to the recalibration of existing and formation of new programming with the Prince’s Trust Canada team? The Role

Expectations
You will:
- Set the strategic goals for the department in relation to refreshed veteran programming and recalibrated and new youth programming.
- Lead the implementation and operational planning of the portfolio, ensuring annual and long-term plans are developed and integrated, aligned with the organization’s strategic plan
- Contribute to proposal development for revenue generation from individual, foundation, corporate and government funders.
- Support the Senior Managers, Programming and Partnerships in building and managing their teams.
- Ensure development and monitoring of KPIs for all programs.
- Lead the effort to establish and maintain PTC as an excellent partner with employers, youth -serving organizations, community collaborators, educational institutions and others.
- Contribute to PTC’s communications plans related to programs, and to the development of key messages for recruitment and other external communications.

The Ideal Candidate
If you have:
- Strong problem-solving skills with demonstrated creative, innovative and strategic thinking.
- Demonstrated experience in program design, content development and adaptations in digital and in-person environments.
- Possess attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, demonstrated ability to effectively communicate ideas and actions to people at all levels in an organization.
- Must be eligible to work in Canada.
- 7+ years at senior management level with oversight of employees and managers.
- Highly proficient with MS Office.
- Demonstrated experience in strategic planning and operational management.
- A degree in Social/Human Services, Business and Economic Development field (or equivalent combination of formal training and experience).
- An understanding of the Canadian Armed Forces, sustainability, Equity, Diversity & Inclusion (nice to have)
