Key Qualifications and Demonstrated Abilities:

College certificate or University degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience to compensate.

Minimum of 4 years of proven experience in software development.

Excellent programming and analysis skills with a strong appreciation for the role of technology in business and software solutions.

Experience with containerization (docker, other) will be an asset.

Experience with Azure application development is an asset but not necessary for the role.

Demonstrated experience in strategic planning and operational management.

7+ years at senior management level with oversight of employees and managers.

• A university degree or a diploma in an applied field;

Provides information to the residents of London and area regarding summer programming for people with vision loss.

Other assets, include: experience working with Indigenous Peoples, using customer relationship management software (CRMs), grant writing, and handling artefacts.

Excellent problem solving, project management, and time management skills.

Excellent written and verbal communications skills with advanced copy editing abilities and good public speaking skills.

Manage, in partnership with the Marketing Department, all aspects of exhibitor booths at teachers’ conventions.

BONUS: Comfortable with C++, C#, JS, HTML, CSS, and Java.

2-5 years’ of experience with VTScada, Rockwell Automation, Emerson Automation, Industrial Networks, and SCADA would be a strong asset.

Exceptional trouble shooting and problem solving skills.

Must be able to manage multiple tasks.

Journeyman Instrument Mechanic/Electrician with extensive Automation experience

Evaluates staff training needs and arranges for training initiatives, particularly regarding qualifications and certifications.

Understanding of business needs, project management, process development

Address issues with City of Brampton policies, procedures, contractual requirements, and methodology identified by arts industry partners.

Ensure that arts industry partners fulfil contractual requirements.

Provide onsite or remote immediate resolution or decision-making to front-line staff for issues that arise onsite during events.

Experience developing relationships and partnerships involving multiple stakeholders and organizations.
