Director Of Warehouse Operations

One of Canada’s most respected distributors has an immediate opening for a Director of Warehouse Operations, overseeing operations for 5 distribution centres across Canada. We need a coach and mentor who is passionate about people, with the proven ability to develop a strong, engaged workforce. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing progressive changes across a multi-site distribution operation. You will be overseeing an experienced team of warehouse managers and supervisors, with a total team of over 1000 associates, plus administrative support staff.

We require extensive leadership experience within a wholesale / retail distribution environment, and ideally looking for experience with robotics and automated storage and retrieval systems.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Preference for project management experience; training in lean, Six Sigma, PMP would be an asset.
• Completion of post-secondary education is required.
• Strong analytical skills, experience with WMS and Excel.
• Experienced with KPI’s and SOP’s.
• Must be a motivated team builder and a proven coach and mentor.
• Experienced in setting up and managing budgets for operations and capital projects.
• Must have experience overseeing a complex retail or wholesale multi-site distribution operation.

SALARY RANGE: $140,000,000 – $160,000; plus bonuses and benefits. Compensation will be commensurate with experience.

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree preferred. CCLP (CITT) would be an asset.
