SMG (Service Management Group) is looking for a technically savvy Director of Technical Professional Services.

As Director of Technical Professional Services, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of tailored solutions that address specific product gaps to meet our client’s individual needs. Lead the team that defines and delivers solutions.

✅ Your day-to-day work:

• Project management will be a key aspect of your role, including developing project plans, monitoring progress, managing scope changes, and reporting project performance to senior management.
• You will set goals and objectives for the team, providing coaching and development to team members.
• Develop custom SQL scripts and JavaScript solutions.
• Lead our Achievement of Service SLA’s, for client survey, reporting, case, alert, incentive, integration changes or ads.
• Building and maintaining relationships with clients and stakeholders is crucial, as is assessing and mitigating risks and issues to minimize project impacts.
• You will also support the pre-sales team in customer acquisition.
• Specialize in developing content migration systems using Java and C++.
• Leverage your technical expertise and understanding of SMG products, you will analyze client requirements, identify trends in client requirements, and determine what is needed to enhance our existing platform to deliver those needs.
• Design and implement processes, tools, and cadences to ensure efficient monitoring, risk identification, and on-time delivery.

✅ Requirements:

• Excellent customer service and communication skills to engage with various levels of management, both internally and externally.
• Outstanding organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
• Significant experience in enterprise transformation and implementation methodologies.
• Previous experience as a Professional Services Engineer
• Flexibility, accountability, and adaptability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• 5+ years of professional experience leading software implementations, with SaaS experience.
• Proficiency in making data-driven decisions and crafting performance metrics.
• Experience leading technical consulting teams focused on achieving SLA and delivery dates.
