Director Of Project Management

We are currently seeking a Director of Project Management to join our team and lead the planning and execution of our diverse portfolio of projects. As a key member of our leadership team, the Director of Project Management will oversee a team of project managers and ensure that we continue to deliver best-in-class results for our clients. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success managing complex software projects and a talent for leading and motivating teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic recommendations to clients, identifying opportunities for process improvements and innovative solutions.
• Client Relationship Management:
• Collaborate closely with clients to understand their business goals, objectives, and project requirements.
• Allocate resources effectively, balancing workload and skillsets to maximize project efficiency and profitability.
• Foster a collaborative and productive team environment, promoting knowledge sharing, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous learning.
• Conduct regular project status meetings, reviews, and assessments to ensure adherence to project objectives and client expectations.
• Drive process improvements and standardization across project management practices.
• Mitigate risks and manage project dependencies, identifying potential issues and taking proactive measures to address them.
• Project Oversight and Resource Management:
• Establish and monitor project KPIs, track progress, and identify areas for improvement.
• Provide overall leadership and direction to project managers and project teams, ensuring the successful planning, execution, and delivery of projects.
• Address client concerns and proactively manage client expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop and implement project management methodologies, processes, and best practices to optimize project outcomes.
• Project Management Leadership:
• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to mobile and web software development.
• Continuous Improvement:
• Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are properly staffed, resourced, and scheduled.
• Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and ensure projects are delivered within budgetary constraints.
• Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, enhance productivity, and increase project delivery speed and quality.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, building strong relationships and ensuring client satisfaction.
• Act as a point of escalation for project-related issues and provide guidance to resolve conflicts or challenges.

Requirements

• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong leadership skills, with a track record of successfully managing and motivating project teams.
• PMP or SAFe certification is highly desirable.
• Proven experience in successfully delivering complex mobile and web software projects.
• Analytical mindset, with the ability to solve problems and make data-driven decisions.
• Excellent client-facing and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Extensive knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) and tools.
• 10+ years of experience in project management, with a record of success in managing complex software development projects.
