Description

Reporting to the COO, your mission as Director of Operations and Supply-Chain will be responsible for ensuring that business operations are efficient and effective.

  • Lead and manage a team of professionals in operations, quality, demand planning, regulatory, production and procurement and supply-chain.
  • Oversee end-to-end product development process, ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Implement KPIs to track and report on operational performance.
  • Develop and manage budgets, optimizing costs without compromising service quality.
  • Oversee the manufacturing and production operations, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to quality standards.
  • Stay updated on emerging trends, technologies, and ingredients in the FMCG industry.
  • Oversee and lead demand plan for 150+ products across multiple countries and suppliers.
  • Collaborate with the executive team to allocate resources effectively.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and operational excellence, encouraging collaboration across teams.
  • Manage the entire supply chain process, including procurement, inventory management, and distribution.
  • Develop and implement quality assurance strategies and procedures to meet regulatory requirements, such as Health Canada Natural Health Products site license, FDA and EU regulations, and ISO standards.
  • Build strong relationships with external partners, leveraging expertise to enhance product development and operational capabilities.

  • Ability to adapt to change and innovative spirit. Keeping abreast of emerging trends, technologies and consumer preferences is essential.
  • Successful experience in launching innovative new products is an asset.
  • Proven experience in high-level operational functions in sectors such as: consumer goods, cosmetics, personal care products, food & beverage or pharmaceuticals, partnered with leading global retailers.
  • Strong leadership skills to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams, excellent project management skills and outstanding analytically and problem-solving skills.
  • Technical and technological leadership to guide and drive investment projects to support the company's strong growth.
  • Bachelor's degree in science or related field.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in operations management, supply-chain management and logistics/warehousing, including manufacturing processes, inventory management and production efficiency.
