Director Supply Chain Jobs

Position: Director, Supply Chain Reports to: VP Operations

We are looking for a Director, Supply Chain to join our team! Our Director, Supply Chain will be responsible for managing and optimizing our end-to-end supply chain operations.

Opportunities

In this role you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, sourcing, procurement, logistics, distribution, and co-packer strategy and management of all our food products. Your focus will be on ensuring the efficient flow of finished goods from manufacturing facilities to consumers while maintaining the highest standards of quality, sustainability, and ethical sourcing.

Knowledge & skills

• You have demonstrated experience in leading and optimizing end-to-end supply chain operations.
• You have solid understanding of organic and sustainable sourcing practices, including certifications and standards.
• You have a strong knowledge of supply chain best practices, including demand forecasting, procurement, production planning, S&OP, logistics, and co-packer management.
• You have exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams.

Experience

• You have proven experience in supply chain management, with a focus on the food industry or organic products.
• You have at least 10+ years in CPG manufacturing. Food industry is an asset but not a requirement

things you will do…

• Lead the sourcing and procurement functions, negotiate favorable contracts, terms, and pricing while managing supplier performance and risk.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive supply chain strategy aligned with the company's overall goals and objectives.
• Visit vendors and build long term relationships which align with the strategy.
• Working with VP of Ops, you will develop the Supply Chain strategy and ensure all areas are following it when making decisions.
• Build and lead a high-performing supply chain team, foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that encourages innovation, accountability, and continuous learning.
• Streamline and improve supply chain processes, including demand forecasting, inventory management, production planning, procurement, distribution, and co-packer management.
