Job Description

Position Summary

As the Digital Marketing Specialist, you will manage the content for websites, social media accounts, general online presence, and direct SEO and SEM activities of Nova’s portfolio companies. The candidate will drive brand awareness and product promotion and assist in creating marketing materials for the portfolio companies. Our ideal candidate is a keen self-starter who takes the initiative with little direction, loves technology, and has a knack for turning complex concepts into easily understood ideas through purposeful storytelling.


Main Responsibilities


  • Brainstorm, develop ideas, and create online content for social media, email campaigns, and other platforms.
  • Partner with Nova’s subsidiary marketing teams to coordinate brand and marketing efforts and lead the coordination and execution of a social media strategy.
  • Partner with the Company’s in-house Web Developers on all website development initiatives from concept to design and launch.
  • Lead, define, and oversee the implementation of SEO/SEM strategies by using research and analysis tools to improve keyword rankings on search engines.
  • Working with each subsidiary, track and analyze the performance of all digital campaigns by using analytics tools such as Google Analytics 4 and look at various data sources to ensure ongoing optimization.
  • Actively collaborate with internal teams to develop each brand’s reputation online, improving conversion rates and generating leads.
  • Lead bi-weekly marketing meetings to discover potential opportunities and execute marketing initiatives.
  • Communicate with the product management, sales, application engineering, and advanced engineering teams to understand product features and benefits for developing marketing and sales material.
  • Manage outbound and inbound marketing activities utilizing your expertise in content development and optimization,advertising, events planning, and product launches.
  • Update content, pages, and images on the subsidiary websites as requested by the marketing teams ensuring SEO best practices are in place.
  • Track and report on website and social media performance monthly, making recommendations for improvement.


Technical Skills


  • Excellent computer skills and high proficiency with MS Office.
  • Knowledge of CRM and marketing automation software.
  • Ability to create high-quality designs for marketing collateral and websites using Adobe Creative Suites products such as Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, XD, and Premiere.
  • Understanding UX design principles to provide meaningful and relevant experiences to users.
  • Experience creating and editing video content for websites, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
  • Experience with launching paid advertising campaigns using platforms such as Google AdWords and LinkedIn.
  • Strong knowledge of web analytics, such as Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console.
  • Experience in deploying and managing digital marketing projects of all sizes.
  • Excellent knowledge and technical competence in WordPress-based websites.
  • Ability to author, present, and interpret routine reports and correspondence.
  • Portfolio of experience with social media - blogging, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube.


Experience


  • Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience as a Digital Marketing Specialist or similar role.
  • Familiarity with marketing in technical or scientific industries is a plus.
  • A degree in marketing or communications is preferred. Equivalent experience will be considered.
