After scaling a boutique, full-suite digital agency to 7 figures in 6 months, I've embarked on my own to found a new entity: one with digital storytelling and creativity at its core.

I am looking for a Digital Designer with a proven aptitude for transforming words and concepts into compelling visual media.

You have experience creating winning advertisements, high-converting landing pages, and stunning marketing emails. You've worked with ecommerce brands across all levels of the spectrum: from small, feisty companies looking for their breakthrough moment, to large, established brands in pursuit of continued growth and profitability.

In short, you live and breathe design, have a knack for finding the 'beautiful' in the 'ordinary', and want to profit from your artistry and expertise.

Along with your skills and inherent passion for design, it is my hope that you will bring to the table a spirit of entrepreneurship.

For while our client roster is growing quickly, we are still by definition a start-up, and are looking for an individual who wants to get in on the action early, make his or her or their mark, help shape and define the ethos of our company, and ultimately exercise leadership over what, in a short span of time, will become a full-fledged design department.

That said, unless some burning initiative of your choosing is preoccupying you, you will not be expected to go without sleep, the basic comforts of a happy life, and compensation in the name of the by now thoroughly outdated 'hustle and grind mentality.'

You will be paid what you're worth from the outset. You will, as a remote team member, be entitled to work as best fits your schedule. And, most importantly, your opinions and perspectives will matter, and your voice will at all times be heard.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and adapt designs based on feedback provided
• Communicate with project managers to establish goals, outcomes, and timelines for deliverables
• Create strong visual designs based on given criteria
• Conceptualize ideas and generate content from a variety of ideas
• Understand characteristics of target audience and find effective ways to reach them

Qualifications

• Strong creative, design and multitasking skills
• Familiarity with Shopify & various email tools (especially Klaviyo)
• Detail oriented
• Bachelor's degree in graphic design or relevant field (considered an asset)
• Demonstrated ability to create effective designs
• 2+ years of relevant experience (DTC ecommerce brands, primarily)
• Proficient in Canva, Figma, & ecommerce landing page builders
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and Photoshop
