We are looking for a Digital Analytics Implementation Specialist for the largest automotive marketplace in Canada.

In this role, your focus will be on

What you’ll do:

• Design and implementation of autoTRADER’s digital analytics solutions across web and apps via Google suite (Google Analytics 360 [GA4], Google Tag Manager [GTM])

• Execute the implementation process, including developing tracking solutions in accordance with stakeholder needs, troubleshooting with development teams and validation.

• Identify opportunities to expand and improve existing tagging methodology and architecture for autoTRADER’s multiple marketplaces to ensure accurate, scalable measurement.

• Perform analytics regression testing ahead of all scheduled releases using debugging tools.

• Build relationships with key partners within Engineering and Product teams to promote collaboration and efficiencies in work processes.

• Resolve technical tracking issues identified on website and mobile analytics platform

• Provide guidance and support to other web analytics stakeholders on GA capabilities and measurement approaches

What you bring to the table…

• Current knowledge in Google Analytics, digital analytics trends and best practices in web and app measurement to identify opportunities to integrate them within autoTRADER platforms

• High degree of autonomy – ability to work with product and engineering teams to identify requirements and communicate them effectively.

• Passion for data-driven decision making and analytics.

• A business perspective. The ability to work in both technical and business environments is paramount.

• Strong problem-solving skills.

• Analytics regression testing and debugging experience.

Must have experience…

• Four-year technical degree or equivalent

• 2+ years of digital analytics implementation experience

• 2+ years of technical GA experience including site tagging

• 1+ years of web development experience (JavaScript, HTML)

• Experience using all aspects of GTM deployment and capabilities (required)
