Your Role and Responsibilities

Expertus, an IBM company is a Montreal-based fintech company specializing in end-to-end digital payments, to help clients address the aging payments infrastructures used by banks, credit unions, regulatory agencies and large corporations. The acquisition strengthens IBM's portfolio as an end-to-end payments platform solution provider, further advancing IBM's hybrid cloud and AI strategy.

About The Team

We are a dynamic and infra-oriented team missioned with maintaining, monitoring and improving a fully automated client-facing infrastructure on AWS

We develop our assets using cutting-edge technologies such as Terraform, Kubernetes, ArgoCD, Vault, Packer, and that's just the tip of the iceberg!

We use a combination of AGILE SCRUM and Kanban to manage and prioritize our deliveries.

Job Responsibilities

• Maintain / Improve Infrastructure as Code projects
• Develop processes that will facilitate multi-department CI/CD and infrastructure elaboration
• Participate at migrating application strategy to Kubernetes
• Build and maintain automated testing of applications and underlying infrastructure
• Be part of the efforts or research and documentation (Proof of concepts, discoveries, etc.) of innovative approaches in terms of CI/CD and cloud management
• Leverage best practices in terms of Infrastructure security and apply them to the team's projects

This role can be performed from Quebec.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Strong communication skills both verbal and in written
• Source control management (Git)
• A clear credit check is a requirement for this role
• Good teamwork spirit
• Knowledge of Tangible experience with Kubernetes and Helm
• Knowledge of IaC experience with Terraform and Ansible
• Capable of autonomous research on given topics
• Knowledge of containerization solutions such as Docker
• 3+ years of cloud Infrastructure knowledge (AWS stack such as EC2, S3, VPCs)

Preferred Technical And Professional Expertise

• Jenkins CI, ArgoCD
• Python
• AGILE Scrum experience
• Hashicorp Vault
