Responsibilities

The Information Technology (IT) department is accountable for the delivery of IT services that drives the Toro Group of Business systems. The IT department supports the organization in these critical areas:

• Desktop Management
• Network Management
• Cybersecurity Risk Mitigation
• Voice and Data Communications
• Business Intelligence and Web Applications
• Strategic Technical Planning
• End-User Technical Support

Reporting directly to the Director of IT, the Developer is a key team member of the BI and development operations team and you will combine your strong technical knowledge with best practice BI lifecycle management to deliver creative and innovative projects.

• Gather requirements and compile the design specifications and project scope documentation.
• Understand multiple potential solutions and objectively presents them for consideration.
• Utilize your passion for database development and BI components in SQL Server.

• Working with various business division and departments to transform their conceptual requirements into a detailed design specification and project scope documentation.

Requirements

The knowledge you will need:

Must Have

• Expect-level developing SQL statements and stored procedures.
• Ability to perform data discovery and reverse engineering of applications to find and expose data.
• Extensive knowledge of various programming language mainly C#, ASP .NET, VB .NET, JavaScript.
• Experience with database management (database design, schema creation, and concurrency and performance considerations)
• Experience developing interactive dashboards and data visualization.
• Extensive knowledge of MS SQL Server and Visual Studio.
• Strong experience with Microsoft BI technologies (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS)

Nice To Have

• Ability to develop discovery and automation scripts using PowerShell and Graph API.
• Android development using Xamarin or Android Studio.
• Knowledge of Azure AD Security Concepts and Azure AD SSO integration.
• Ability to build web services.

Environment / Working Conditions

• Dynamic and agile environment with tight deadlines, numerous and changing priorities.
• Occasional evening/weekend work required as needed to meet deadlines or deploy solutions.

Education And Experience Requirements

• 4 – 5 years of experience building business reports.
• Ability to understand complex data models.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or IT related field from an accredited institution.
