Cybersecurity Analyst

4. JOB DUTIES

- Act as an expert in security incident response and any other initiative to bring the necessary security events;

- Participate in the life cycle of Cybersecurity incidents, from preparation to postmortem;

- Participate in the drafting of the documentation of the alert management processes for the previous levels;

- Collaborate with the infrastructure teams for the implementation and improvement of defense controls;

- Actively participate in the definition, formalization, implementation and maintenance of processes and best practices;

- Be responsible for contextualizing, prioritizing, assigning, monitoring and closing vulnerabilities;

- Contribute to the establishment of vulnerability remediation/mitigation plans;

- Follow up on the management of vulnerabilities with the stakeholders;

- Ensure compliance with service level agreements for vulnerability management;

- Collaborate with stakeholders to optimize the remediation of vulnerabilities.

100 000 - 120 000$ CAD annual

10. SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

You are a Cybersecurity Analyst. You are passionate and have a sense of initiative. You are well known for your ability to progress within a team around common projects and you easily adapt to new environments. You have an advanced technical training of a minimum 2 years of post-secondary studies, and you have a minimum of 5-year experience on similar roles with:

- Experience with some of the following technological tools: Veracode, Acunetix, Nexus IQ, Aquasec, Nessus, CVSS, OWASP, MITER, NIST, digital investigation (forensics), Azure, AWS, Active Directory (AD + ADAzure), IDS/IPS, Firewalls, Web Application Firewalls (WAF), web filtering, EDR, SIEM, SOAR or IAM process ;

- In-depth knowledge of vulnerability management, application security, infrastructure and telecommunications ;

- Experience working in a Security Operation Center (SOC) is an asset ;

- Demonstrated commitment to training, self-learning and maintaining technical skills in cybersecurity ;

- Sense of collaboration and teamwork ;

- Excellent interpersonal relations (ability for leadership and conflict management) ;

- Strong analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills ;

- Positive attitude and open to learning ;

- Knowledge of cloud computing – asset ;

- CISSP or COMPTIA Security+ or CEH, GCIH, GCTI, GCFE certification (or equivalent) – an asset.
