Job summary:
Assist the locations of the Regional Customer Centre in achieving sales and other financial targets, and company operations at an individual location(s). Responsible for the oversight of safety audits, employee safety training, compliance with State and Federal OSHA, D.O.T. regulations, drug and alcohol testing, and the safe maintenance of program equipment within the RCC territory. Demonstrates orientation toward excellent customer service by conducting daily activities, communications, and interactions in a cooperative, positive, and professional manner. Drives, implements, sustains, and develops quality process improvements that focus on safety, financials, operations, and customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Perform other duties assigned as assigned by the manager.
- Order parts, return parts, and perform parts inventory.
- File warranty claims in a timely fashion
- Commission New Equipment
- Update, maintain and keep organized equipment service records.
- Manages the repair and maintenance of equipment to include the organization of yard (Ready to Rent, Returned, Down)
- Prepares work schedules and handles service calls to meet customer needs and ensure that equipment is available as required.
- Handles customer complaints regarding equipment condition or operation.
- Create, update, close and bill work orders.
- Promote safety awareness.
- Documents equipment status before and after rental.
- Perform quality control checks.
- Orders parts to maintain adequate supplies.
- Evaluates all equipment after repairs, maintenance, or safety checks.
- Disposal of Solid and Hazardous Material Waste (Batteries, used oil & filters, antifreeze, wash sludge)
- Provides training and assistance to field service technicians.
- Reporting to include: - Equipment due for service - Fleet status Reporting - Equipment Service Record Reporting - Open work order report - Inventory management - Financial and historical trending - Work order chargeback -Open PO report - Tech paid hours vs. worked hour report.
Qualifications:
- Computer literacy
- Clear perspective of maintenance and repair issues in the industry
- Inventory management experience
- Knowledge of work planning and scheduling and other supervisory activities
- Strong understanding of equipment capabilities and safety requirements.
- Reporting experience
- Planning and management experience
- Extensive experience in the repair and maintenance of diesel engines and/or electric motors
