CNIB invites you to build a career as unique as you! We are currently searching for a Coordinator, Maintenance! Reporting to the Manager, Property, the Coordinator, Maintenance will be responsible for the overall maintenance and cleanliness of the CNIB building, grounds and equipment.
This position is responsible for property requirements and tenant relations as directed by the Manager, Property.
Your impact at CNIB
  • Recommends preventative building works and refurbishments to the Manager, Property.
  • Management of building keys and building alarm codes
  • Coordinating and overseeing regular building maintenance and repairs including mechanical, electrical, security and fire prevention systems and grounds maintenance (including snow removal).
  • Liaises with building tenants and responds to tenant needs as appropriate in consultation with the Manager, Property.
  • Coordinates submission of building related invoices to Concur for processing
  • Maintains custodian’s room and an adequate stock of cleaning and other supplies.
  • Conducting daily building interior / exterior inspections and producing monthly reports
Who You Are
  • Good time management and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of the impact of vision loss.
  • Good verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of cleaning products.
  • Ability to deal with confidential information.
We Want To Hear From You If You Have
  • High school graduate
  • WHMIS training.
  • Two years experience in building service maintenance or related janitorial experience and tenant management.
Work Environment
  • May be required to work evenings or weekends.
  • Must be flexible in order to accommodate changing priorities.
