Veritas – an award-winning marketing and PR agency - is in the market for an awesome Consultant with a minimum of 2 years in the biz. A PR unicorn with a leadership mindset, who is equal parts creative and culturally dialed in. One who lives and breathes the music, entertainment and pop culture scene, and known as the person in your friend group who’s always in the know.

You have at least 2 years of dynamic agency experience (preferably PR) working on multiple client accounts, and you thrive amidst inter-agency collaboration. You are a detailed Project Manager in the making and have an attractive record for both servicing clients and working with your team. You have a deep appreciation for communication, and an advanced knowledge of the media and PR landscape. More importantly, you feel at home in the influencer/meme culture space, and you’re an early adopter of new social platforms. The idea of working on culturally relevant, breakthrough programming excites you. No rigid hierarchical structure here. A good idea is a good idea, no matter who it comes from. We focus on clever and thought-provoking brand acts, unique creative spins on storytelling and awesome digital content.

What You’ll Do:

• Analyze media coverage for clients.
• Draft and edit press releases, backgrounders, pitch and new business documents etc.
• Participate in new business pitches and liaise with new business prospects, as required
• Assist in identifying potential organic growth opportunities and new business targets that are consistent with the strategic direction of the agency
• Maintain and monitors workflow assignments on all projects
• Draft and distribute media materials (press releases, backgrounders, pitch documents and new business documents) and conduct media relations activities
• Proactively identify problems/opportunities early and advises team appropriately
• Interact with clients in a professional manner and participate in discussions around campaign strategy
• Demonstrate ability/understanding of time tracking, invoicing system, account budgets and ensuring projects are completed within assigned timelines
• Develop pitch ideas and successfully pitches media and social media tactics to client
• Understand all types of PR tactics (incl. social and online) and their specific value to programs

You’ll never be bored. We work hard for some of the country’s most ambitious brands and with some of the cleverest clients – on everything from beauty to alcohol, retail to healthcare, tech to government. And all the other things in between. #blessed

We’re still mostly remote. All fully vaxxed folks can come into the office to a capacity – but we have a flexible work from anywhere policy. If you can commit to working ET hours – you can work from the moon if you want. (Do they have WIFI on the moon?)

We’re super team oriented. We have a very strict ‘good vibes only’ policy. If you’re a sourpuss or an under-bus thrower, we thank you to move along. We rise and fall as a team.
