Role:Cloud Support Engineer – Azure

Location: Calgary, AB

Who are we looking for?

• Has expertise in Azure Public Cloud provider technologies and can embed these capabilities into existing or new cloud-based infrastructure solutions.
• 3 Years in TechnicalOperations lead role.
• Cloud Solutions L2 Engineer with experience in Cloud solutions, coordinate with clients the details of the solution.
• 5-8 years of Industry experience with min.

Technical Skills:

• Monitoring tool: Azure Monitoring, Network watcher, Solar Winds.
• Network: Good understanding of networking concepts and ability to troubleshoot connectivity issues
• Migration: Azure site recovery
• Must be aware and adherent to ITSM Processes
• Windows Server: Active directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy.
• Hyper-V/VMWare administration
• Backup tool: Azure Backup, VMware backup
• Patching: Perform Advanced troubleshooting on OS Patch failure situations·
• Scripting: Knowledge on PowerShell scripts, Azure CLI (Preferred)
• Experience with Azure cloud administration and Solutions
• Manage Snapshots and restore of volumes
• 5-8 Years of experience in handling Hybrid Datacenter Operations for global clients.
• Operating System knowledge: Wintel, RHEL(Preferred)

Process Skills:

• Should contribute to SIPs (Systematic Improvement Plans)
• Knowledge on ITSM and must be aware of Incident, Change & Problem management processes
• Should contribute to Effort reduction initiatives like small script based automations
• Should contribute to creation of Technical Documentations
• Help team with critical technical know how

• Must have superior problem-solving skills with extremely high levels of initiative and assertiveness.
• Effectively collaborate with stakeholders, Customers and Partners in a Service Delivery environment
• Participate in business meetings with various stake holders
• Identify the Gaps and provide documentation / suggestion faced during Execution.

• Drive self-motivated service improvement programs as a key team player who is attentive to detail and able to work in a fast paced environment
• Able to thrive in rapid environment and adopt new technology

Qualification:

• Preferred Certification: AZ-104 – Microsoft Azure Administrator
• Education qualification: B. Tech, BE, BCA, MCA, M. Tech or equivalent technical degree from a reputed college
• Somebody who has at least 3-6+ years of work experience in Azure Cloud, Windows, Active Directory technology troubleshooting and offshore support.
