Flint helps healthcare organizations hire nurses from other countries. We build software to make the complexity of licensing and immigration easy. We are a VC backed startup, a YCombinator company, and over the next 5 years we plan to help 10,000 amazing nurses from countries like Nigeria, South Africa, and Mexico move their lives to a new country!

We are seeking an extremely organized and driven individual to fill the role of Chief of Staff to the CEO. This full-time position is expected to rotate every 2-3 years. As the Chief of Staff, you will work closely with the CEO to make the entire organization more powerful by managing directed projects from the CEO as well as self-directed leadership work.

Responsibilities

- Partner with the CEO to serve as a thought partner and sounding board, helping the CEO make more informed decisions and get twice as much done

- Run special projects that are urgent and important

- Support the leadership team by taking on projects that land outside of other executives' purview, improving and maintaining metric dashboards, creating decision-making frameworks, improving cross-functional collaboration, and improving company goal setting

- Oversee company finances, including forecasting, third-party partnerships, and corporate treasury

- Manage investor relationships, including organizing updates, preparing for new financing rounds, and participating in investor meetings

- Manage internal business operations, including leadership meetings, all-hands meetings, culture chats, company retreats, company handbooks, and people ops

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including cross-functional collaboration

- Proven ability to effectively interact with senior stakeholders

- Proven success in project/program management

- Experience in building financial models

- 2+ years of combined experience in an operating role at a fast-growing startup, strategy consulting, or venture capital

Reports To: CEO/Co-Founder
