Randstad RiseSmart’s Transition service is an alternative to traditional Outplacement - it is an effective and efficient transition management solution focused on transitioning professionals to the next step in their career. The Coach is responsible for supporting impacted employees with their career transition.
The Career Coach will also act as liaison to other Randstad RiseSmart service providers including resume writers, job lead specialists and technical support. In addition, the Career Coach is responsible for expertly coaching clients on their career transition strategy and providing them services including mock interviews, interview preparation, offer evaluation and salary negotiation coaching, information on networking best practices and other support as requested.
Job Requirements
- Technical savvy with access to a computer/laptop with high speed internet
- Excellent rapport building skills – a natural ability to “wow” clients
- Desire to work part time hours, ideally between 15-25 +/- hours per week, five days a week
- Strong sense of empathy, positive outlook, ability to motivate others
- Experience coaching professionals in the US and Canada combined with corporate experience
- Excellent communication (written and oral), listening, multitasking and organizational skills.
- Experience using the various business versions of Google Workspace
- Collaborative mindset
- Focus on efficiency, performance standards, and achieving high client satisfaction.
- Proficiency for managing administrative tasks, such as taking detailed notes and managing diverse dashboards on multiple platforms
Key Assets
- Coaching certification completed or in progress
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Multilingual
- Technical recruiting background or experience coaching technical professionals
- Coaching expertise in career transition, retirement, or/and entrepreneurship
- Training or workshop facilitation experience
