Job Description

What You Will Experience In This Position


  • Proactive expediting of Purchase Orders as well as vendor set-up and document management.
  • Support projects and warehouse team in leading materials for projects.
  • Maintain Expedite report for all project material purchases, third party and internal materials.
  • Place Purchase Orders for Projects and MRP requests and make needed updates.
  • Assist with developing, presenting, maintaining, and improving policies, procedures and standard templates for the procurement and materials processes.
  • Liaise as the need arises with Project Services and Accounts Payable departments, as well as other internal business units.
  • Key point of contact for Accounts Payable for PO/Invoice reconciliation.
  • Work collaboratively with supply, warehouse, and project teams to ensure corporate and departmental objectives are achieved and maintained.


You Have


  • Knowledge of electrical heat tracing Engineering, Procurement and Construction business is an asset.
  • Must be a self-starter and possess excellent computer skills (Word Excel and SAP).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or related field is helpful.
  • 3+ years validated experience in material distribution is required.
  • Ability to project future business process needs and services across the organization.
  • Knowledge of contract management.
