Business System Analyst- Aml/Tableau

Working with one of the top financial clients this role calls for a Business System Analyst- AML/Tableau who will be responsible for leading requirement work packages for medium to large-sized, low to moderate risk and regulatory projects with multiple stakeholders and across multiple Line of Business. The successful candidate possesses advanced to expert knowledge of business analysis, quality assurance, project delivery practices and standards across the project life-cycle.

Responsibilities:

• Assess change requests and their impacts, checking for alignment to initiative objectives at all stages
• Support the development of a delivery approach and work plan, aligned with the project milestone dates and consider constraints, dependencies and strategic drivers
• Engage, enable and lead stakeholders to final agreement and signoff of the deliverables
• Identify and manage risks and issues, escalating to manager and partners where appropriate
• Estimate, forecast and manage the requirements effort including cost, resource and timeline
• Identify, document and validate current state processes and capabilities
• Support business with defining the business need or problem and identifying potential solutions
• Conduct review of the design and testing deliverables to ensure the solution meets the business requirements
• Take ownership and complete the BA work package. Deliverables include but are not limited to, Business Requirements documentation, business process design, business context diagram, Use Cases, data requirements and mapping, root cause and business analysis, impact analysis, alternatives and recommendations, work-around identification and documentation, report/dashboard/analytics design, deployment support, production stabilization and Day 2 maintenance
• Understand, challenge, categorize, prioritize and document business requirements
• Analyze impacts to customers, stakeholders, employees, process, technology and budgets of selected solutions
• Support development of business cases and RFI/RFPs with vendors if required
• Plan and facilitate sessions to draw out requirements – both explicit and implicit, functional and non-functional

Desired Skill – Set:

• 5 – 7 years of working experience with Tableau and Alteryx
• Background building and using business intelligence, analytics and/or data visualization tools including Tableau, Alteryx, PowerBI, etc.
• Moderate to Advanced Tableau Desktop & Tableau Server skills
• Ability to document process maps and create standard operating procedures
• Very strong working knowledge of MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Access, MS Word, MS Outlook, and MS OneNote;
• Comfortable accessing large data sources, performing mining, extractions and manipulations to uncover relevant data findings and big-picture stories;
• Working knowledge of Tableau visualization tool and Alteryx Designer

• SQL skills
