Lithion is helping to build the circular battery economy in Quebec – and around the world.Business Intelligence AnalystReporting to the Director, Government Relations & Public Affairs, the candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of research and strategic analysis for upcoming investment projects. The candidate will support the Business Development and Finance teams in achieving their objectives.Main responsibilities:Provide support for site selection for future investment projects:Evaluation of investment options by analyzing economic, demographic and other market data;Benchmark target regions based on site selection criteria;Internal coordination of real estate requirements;Identification of potential real estate sites;Support in negotiating and applying for government assistance related to investment projects (analysis of past government assistance, identification and evaluation of assistance programs);Development of decision matrices and real estate options reports;Financial evaluation of options (taxes, incentives, transportation costs, labor, rental/leasing, etc.);Support for information gathering in preparation for project development (site due diligence, including assessment of required permits, environmental, zoning, geotechnical, etc.).Help manage relations with government bodies, local economic developers and brokers;Support the development of a business case by collaborating with internal partners to analyze project profitability;Keep abreast of new developments in the lithium-ion battery recycling market and real estate developments to determine the ideal location for future projects;Assist in the management of transactions alongside internal partners to ensure speedy completion;Make recommendations to enable the company to prioritize sites by region;Design and present reports on site selection analysis results to support decision-making;All other related tasks.Qualifications and Experience:Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in a similar position;Bachelor's degree in business administration or equivalent;Experience in real estate, demographic analysis, economic development, logistics analysis, market analysis, assisting companies in site selection (a plus);Ability to work with numbers, analyze and synthesize ideas;Good knowledge of visualization tools (GIS/Mapping, PowerBI, Google Data Studio, etc.)Excellent computer skills (MS Office, Excel and PowerPoint);Bilingual English-French (written and spoken);Ability to work collaboratively;Good organizational skills and results-oriented;Autonomous, with initiative and adaptability to unforeseen circumstances;Ability to manage different files simultaneously.Enjoy exceptional benefits:Competitive salary and annual bonus for all our employees; we work as a team, we win as a team!Vacation upon hiring;Spend the holiday season with your family!
