This Is What You Will Do
Business analyst, technofunction will act as a key liaison between business (clinical operations, country ops, data management, etc.) and the technology teams across Alexion and AZ. They will drive understanding of the business needs and then translating that to technical requitements. This will involve working on details such as data structure mapping, data flow, working with tech teams to suppote create user stories, curate backlog, perform first and second level UAT etc.
You Will Be Responsible For

• Provide technical input into DTA (Data transfer agreements).
• Provide support on any technical issues/questions.
• Monitor and communicate program status, plans, issues, timelines, action items, and budgets internally and externally. Recommend and implement corrective actions.
• Work with Development Operations, data science and technology at both AZ and Alexion teams to understand application requirements
• Evaluate redundancy and latency of data flow/transfer.
• Translate Clinical team needs to technical language for product teams, including necessary metrics
• Collaborating with stakeholders to drive alignment to ensure both Alexion and AZ are on same page.
• Liaise with System owners at Alexion, AZ and vendors (CRO, e-COA, ePRO, etc.) and define data and technical requirements for data structures, source to target mapping and other technical requirements to support data flow.
• Support application testing and rollout with robust planning. Support change management teams as needed
• Communicate with AZ product teams to convey technical requirements and follow up with business and tech teams to complete project deliverables.
• Help building playbook, SOPs, UAT scripts/testing and other artifacts for upcoming studies in the portfolio.
• Build high level data flow architecture/diagram and educate study team on it.

You Will Need To Have

• Knowledge of QA/Testing, CFR Part 11
• Good knowledge of clinical drug development process and metrics
• Knowledge of data structure for systems used in clinical trials like CTMS, eDC, e-consent, IxRs, e-COA/EPRO, sensors etc.
• The duties of this role are generally conducted in an office environment. As is typical of an office-based role, employees must be able, with or without an accommodation to: use a computer; engage in communications via phone, video, and electronic messaging; engage in problem solving and non-linear thought, analysis, and dialogue; collaborate with others; maintain general availability during standard business hours.
• Education levels: Bachelors and/or Masters in information systems, Clinical data management, analytics.
