Business Analyst (Marketing)- Canada Summer Job Program

Internship Duration: 8 weeks at 35 hours work week.

Salary: $15.50/hour

Toucan Villas will is rapidly developing the vacation rental space. In anticipation of new client deliverables and increasing real estate acquisitions, we are looking for bright summer analysts to join the team and help grow the business.

The successful candidate(s) will have the responsibility to:

• Evaluate and analyze the financial needs of Toucan clients
• Help in the creation and updating of pitch decks and presentations to prospective clients and/or capital investors
• Conduct industry research and analysis to assist in the identification of potential acquisitions or financing opportunities
• Organize and implement technology and help automatic processes throughout the business
• Assist the property management arm by performing duties and maintenance
• Perform and work vendors to update the company website, social media and e-commerce
• Perform financial analysis on various properties within the Toucan portfolio
• Help with business development by securing client meetings
• Create real estate specific social media and marketing plan to attract clients

Ideal candidate:

• You have had exposure and have signed into tools like Facebook Ads, Google Ads, or Google Analytics
• You can navigate Microsoft Excel to find answers hidden in data with ease
• You can think strategically while working in a fast-paced environment
• You are familiar with digital marketing and marketing analytics
• You are passionate about digital marketing.
• You have experience in using Photoshop of Canva for digital content creation

Skills:

• Occasional copywriting ability
• Motion graphics experience
• Video editing ability
• Attention to detail
• Presentation creations
• Social Media knowledge and expertise
• Picture/still image creation for social posts
• Strong analytical and communication skills

Please note that you must be able to work on-site at our start-up downtown office weekly AND work remotely when not on-site. You are also expected to attend periodic all-paid outside Toronto trips during summer.
