Job Description

Master Group is currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled Branch Director to lead our team at Barrie, ON branch. As a Branch Director, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, controlling, and evaluating branch operations to ensure efficient and effective performance. You will provide leadership, guidance, and support to staff, manage budgets, maintain administrative management, and cultivate strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.

Principal tasks:


  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and efficient product availability.
  • Manage internal staff, providing leadership, motivation, and coaching to achieve team goals.
  • Stay updated on markets, trends, and developments in the industry to stay ahead of competitors' activities.
  • Maintain effective administrative management practices.
  • Evaluate the needs of the team and make recommendations for necessary actions.
  • Plan, administer, and control budgets for contracts, equipment, inventory, supplies, etc.
  • Create a positive working climate that fosters sales efficiency and professional development of team members.
  • Interview, hire, and oversee training of staff to ensure a skilled and motivated workforce.
  • Plan, organize, direct, and evaluate branch operations to achieve organizational goals.
  • Provide support to client services, including answering client calls and offering technical support to clients and employees.
  • Take client orders and ensure timely fulfillment.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve objectives and increase revenue.
  • Resolve technical problems related to products in a timely and effective manner.
  • Plan and participate in annual inventory activities.
  • Develop and maintain good business relations with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Perform all other related duties as assigned.
