As a Branch Administrator, the successful candidate will contribute to the overall operation of the elevator through daily administrative tasks. This role is required to work out of an office environment on a full time basis.


Your day to day activities will include:


  • Complete weekly reporting and monitoring, along with month end tasks and responsibilities
  • Operate the truck scale, including grain grading, grain sampling and processing scale tickets
  • Process payments to producers
  • Review and monitor accounts receivables and process grain loads / unloads
  • Work closely with the grain merchants to ensure timely execution of commodity deliveries
  • Perform grain contract management duties
  • Generate grain invoices for customers and apply payments to invoices and account reconciliations
  • Provide exceptional customer service and enter accounts payable information into the system


The successful candidate should enter the position with the following qualifications:


  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Attention to detail is critical, excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Strong problem solving abilities and solid analytical, organizational and time-management skills
  • Post-secondary education in Agribusiness, Business Administration or Accounting is preferred
  • Experience or background in the grain industry would be considered an asset
  • Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment
