Job Description

Position Summary

The role of the Billing Associate is to support the paid media teams with billing and reconciliation initiatives. The Associate will be primarily responsible for the day to day management of ensuring the integrity and accuracy of client media investments.


Key Responsibilities

  • Work with team to actualize any rolling budgets month over month.
  • Assist paid media teams with Prisma inputting. Perform budget control reports to monitor client budgets vs media commitments.
  • Provide monthly budget confirmations to the finance team.
  • Regularly update paid media teams on state of accounts.
  • Clear billing discrepancies or queries in a timely manner.
  • Accurately maintain client records, media approval documentation, and media purchase contracts.
  • Accurately code, upload, and reconcile media budgets.
  • Liaison with internal billing departments.
  • Cross check invoice with platforms to ensure accuracy.


Desired Skills & Experience

  • Highly developed organizational skills with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Previous experience with Prisma or similar tool an asset.
  • Ability to work well and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent ability to manage and prioritize time effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills – must be able to communicate across all levels of the organization.
  • Post-secondary education or equivalent professional experience – University/College degree in accounting, finance, business analytics preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel.
  • Solid understanding of media planning & buying processes an asset.
  • Proactive approach to problem solving and assisting the team.
  • Superior analytical skills and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Has initiative and is self-motivated.
