Media Billing Associate Jobs

Post-secondary education or equivalent professional experience – University/College degree in accounting, finance, business analytics preferred.

Provide monthly budget confirmations to the finance team.

1-2 years previous billing experience

Payrate - $36,000-38,000 annually, will be paid on a weekly basis

Fulltime, Monday - Friday from 8:30AM - 5:00PM

Generating paper/electronic invoicing to drivers and clients

Ensuring all documentation matches: purchase orders, packing slips, billing documents, time sheets, and etc.

Evaluate proposals, coordinate budgets and manage campaign implementation

You have an extensive knowledge of media channels and key evaluation metrics

Researching, negotiating & developing strong vendor executions

Monitoring, tracking and proactively optimizing client campaigns to achieve KPI’s

Demonstrated ability to successfully represent a high-profile organization with media, including the management of issues and reputational advancement.

Experience in the higher education sector is preferred, or experience with large public or non-profit organizations.

Manages public relations agency relationships, freelance writers, photographers, videographers and other contractors as needed.

Identifies, recommends and implements new approaches for storytelling and content delivery and directs communications/social media managers in the execution of strategies.

Manages reactive media relations requests and ensures prompt and thorough follow-through by Communications Specialists.

Minimum High School Diploma: Post-Secondary diploma/degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.

Minimum 3 years’ experience in Billing and Collections and/or customer service.

Intermediate level PC and software skills required.

Experience with PLUS an asset.

Accurately process payments and returns received in Direct Billing.

Providing professional and respectful customer service to internal and external customers regarding all billing and collection related issues.

Knowledge and proven experience with finance, budgeting, and cost control principles.

Excellent time management and ability to help media operations and planning teams meet urgent deadlines.

Relevant work experience in non-digital (Broadcast and Print and Out-of-Home) media buying and delivery or operations.

Experience with contract / audit compliance.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Previous experience with media systems such as Adtraq or EAS.

Knowledge and proven experience with finance, budgeting, and cost control principles.

Excellent time management and ability to help media operations and planning teams meet urgent deadlines.

Updating and maintaining tracking report and sharing invoice drafts generated by the finance team to the appropriate team members.  

Saving appropriate financial documentation to the finance server 

Relevant work experience in media delivery or operations.

Previous experience with Dynamics 365 is an asset

Strong analytical skills to make discoveries based on data.

Experienced with vendor-direct RFPs and negotiations
