With a strong foundation built over 14 years, Sunset Homes has successfully completed numerous high-profile projects, solidifying our reputation as a trusted leader in the industry. Our portfolio showcases a diverse range of custom homes, major renovations, and acreage properties, each designed with intention, luxury, and a focus on client satisfaction.


As our Assistant Project Manager, you will have the opportunity to contribute to these impressive projects, working closely with our experienced Project Managers and President. Qualifications:


  • Resourceful problem-solver with a keen attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of the Alberta Building Code is an asset.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Drive (Drive, Docs, Sheets, etc.).
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and act with professionalism.
  • Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Project (or equivalent) is a plus.
  • Proactive self-starter who thrives in a team environment and can excel under pressure.
  • Strong work ethic with the flexibility to work overtime if required.


Responsibilities:


  • Assist in the planning and development of projects, ensuring their successful execution.
  • Support project coordination and management activities.
  • Hardworking and adaptable individuals thrive in our dynamic environment, contributing to all aspects of the company as needed.
  • 2-5 years of industry experience preferred.
  • Conduct research to gather relevant information as needed.
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as preparing purchase orders, estimates, scheduling, and coordinating meetings.
  • A diploma or degree in Management, Business, Construction, Architecture Technician, or Project Management Certification is an asset.
  • Complete assigned tasks from the Project Manager efficiently and within deadlines.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project needs and goals effectively.
  • Track and report on project progress.
