Job Title: Assistant Event Producer - Festivals and Events
We are currently seeking a talented and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Assistant Event Producer for large-scale festivals. This is a unique opportunity for someone who is passionate about event production and eager to gain hands-on experience in the field. The position is open to the right individual with or without prior experience. We are looking for someone who is organized, takes initiative, is creative, flexible, resourceful and a critical thinker. As an Assistant Event Producer, you will play a crucial role in creating exceptional festival experiences for our attendees.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in post-event analysis and debriefs to identify areas for improvement and contribute to future festival planning.
- Collaborate with our team to develop and execute strategic plans for our festivals, including budgeting, logistics, and marketing.
- Assist in coordinating and communicating with various stakeholders, such as artists, vendors, sponsors, and internal team members, ensuring smooth and successful event operations.
- Assist in negotiating and managing contracts with vendors, artists, and sponsors, ensuring all obligations are met within allocated budgets.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of effective marketing and public relations strategies to promote the festivals and drive attendance.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations at local, state, and federal levels.
- Provide on-site support during festivals, helping to address any challenges, make timely decisions, and prioritize attendee and staff safety.
- Support the management of festival-related activities, including layout design, staffing, security arrangements, medical services coordination, and volunteer management.
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
- Willingness to adapt to flexible working hours, including evenings and weekends as necessary.
- Strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and a desire to create remarkable experiences for festival-goers.
- A creative problem-solving mindset, capable of handling multiple projects and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- While prior experience is not necessary, any experience in event management or related fields would be considered a plus.
