Afternoon Cleaning Maintenance Jobs

We are currently looking for an Afternoon Cleaning Maintenance employee for a full time opportunity here in Calgary, AB.

Company Overview

Schedule: Monday to Friday 2:00PM – 9:45PM

Language: English.

Wage: $18.00/hr.

Working Conditions

Work to be performed in and around a university campus. The facility is secure, with an on-site security presence, but staff will be required to maintain communication with the security team to check out and return keys, along with interacting as a team to always ensure the safety of all occupants and visitors to the site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitors washrooms in assigned area regularly, with a maximum gap between inspections of 20 minutes, performing supply replenishment and cleaning of spaces as required.
• Provides ongoing sanitizing of high traffic fixtures in assigned area such as food court chairs and tables, escalator railings, etc.
• Ensures a high standard of cleanliness is maintained throughout the designated area of responsibility.
• Performs routine maintenance of assigned area via dusting/damp wiping of ledges, seating, fixtures, and furnishings, including spot mopping of floors as required.
• Performs additional cleaning or similar tasks as required by Site Manager
• Removes garbage and other waste streams as containers fill, replacing liners as required and transporting the materials to the central disposal area.
• Notifies site security and Site Manager of any vandalism, maintenance issues, potential safety hazards or security issues.
• Patrols assigned area for spills, debris and anything that renders the area or furnishings unsightly or unsafe and rectifies issues immediately.

Qualifications:

• Ability to work with others in a team and independently.
• Ability to walk, stand and bend for period.
• Capable of lifting 25 pounds throughout the day
