Job Description
Position Description Summary:Support all facility equipment during normal operation. Performs preventative maintenance on all equipment, and maintains facility in top condition.


Principal Accountabilities (The following is intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed. It is not an exhaustive list of all expectations):


  • Routinely inspects and maintains building and installed systems including but not limited to packaging and handling machinery, plumbing systems, kitchen equipment, drains, shop and grounds
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Maintains a clean and safe work environment
  • Support small warehouse projects
  • Assists with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems
  • Responds in a timely fashion to problems related to facility maintenance and repair
  • Perform minor repairs using a variety of tools on all ground support and facility equipment, including troubleshooting
  • Must be able to be trained in the operation of material handling equipment and the changing of MHE batteries


The individual in this position must be capable of performing all of the essential functions with or without a reasonable accommodation.


Knowledge and Skills (The following minimum requirements are normal guidelines and should not constrain the advancement of otherwise qualified personnel):


  • 3-5 years of industry experience preferred
  • Ability to work at heights and in inclement weather.
  • Effective problem solving and critical thinking skills (proactive and reactive)
  • Able to climb, balance, stop, kneel, crouch, crawl and lift up to 50 lbs
  • Must be detail oriented and accurate when processing documentation
  • Team player
  • Ability to multi-task in fast paced environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Able to use all basic equipment to perform housekeeping functions related to the facility.
