Are you an organizational wizard who enjoys detail oriented work? Then Master might be the place for you! Our team is looking for a Warehouse Associate to join our team at our Distribution Center located outside of Calgary in Rocky View County, AB. The warehouse associate is responsible for receiving, labeling, and storing incoming shipments, assessing stock for damages, keeping a concise record of inventory, and accurately filling customer orders.
The schedule for our afternoon shift warehouse team is 2:30pm - 11:00pm; a shift premium is provided for this role. A successful warehouse associate is hard-working, organized and detail-oriented. You should be able to keep good records and keep track of incoming and outgoing stock to ensure inventory levels remain steady.
Principal Tasks
  • Stock shelves and organize overstock locations
  • Pick and pack orders for counter sales, ship warehouse transfers and/or courier deliveries
  • Abide by all company safety regulations
  • Various other related duties as assigned by supervisor such as opening containers & crates, preparing orders, inventory, etc
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, work areas clean
  • Physically receive goods, confirm quantities and receive into the computer system
  • Provide superior customer service
  • Assist in customer loading and unloading of parts by hand or using a forklift
Requirements
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
  • Team player with organizational skills
  • Previous experience operating a forklift (counterbalance)
  • Dangerous Goods certification (an asset)
  • Ability to lift or move heavy products (up to 50lbs.)
  • Initiative & resourcefulness
