Warehouse Associate – Evening Shift Jobs

Monday to Friday, 2:00am - 11:30pm

Picking, packing, scanning, tagging along with other general warehouse duties

Facility Management. Monitor supplier deliveries, manage regular cleaning and maintenance schedules.

Help improve operations. Contribute ideas to improve our quality and customer experience.

You have a proven track record of success in a warehouse, retail, or restaurant environment.

You have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.

You are at least 18 years of age.

You're organized and proficient in Google Docs and Google Sheets.

$22-26/hr, depending on experience and qualifications

A fast-paced, high-tech laboratory environment

Operates sample mills (grinders) used to pre-process samples in accordance with an established production schedule

Retrieves dried samples from drying room and prepares them for lab analysis

College degree in administration, supply chain, operations management, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience;

Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a similar position;

Ability to coordinate several activities at the same time and manage priorities;

Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of applications, particularly Excel;

Good communication and leadership skills;

Analyze floor operations, define priorities and allocate team resources according to the operational needs of the work shift;

Picking - Locating and selecting product for orders in an accurate and timely manner.

Repackaging - Verifying items and quantities of product and decanting into a new container that fits the shelf.

Put away - Safely and accurately locating the repackaged containers onto the shelves.

Manage all night & overnight operation of the warehouse.

5 years' of warehouse experience

Minimum of 3 years of Managing experience

Experience in working evening shift is a plus

Overseeing returns, receiving, put away, transfers, restock, freight, parcels and conversion.

Inspect warehouse and keep the warehouse clean and safe

No experience necessary but previous work experience in a manufacturing, production, or similar scrapyard/auto part environment will be considered an asset

Knowledge and understanding of metallic materials purchased, ferrous and non-ferrous classifications, an asset

Working in conveyor picking stations removing unwanted material from product stream

Cleaning production areas, including shoveling, scraping and sweeping

Assisting operators with maintenance and repairs of equipment

Assist with shop and yard cleanliness by removing debris and picking-up metal from various places throughout the facility
