Warehouse Worker -Immediate Jobs

Spirit Edmonton is looking to fill immediate opening as a full–time, permanent, Warehouse Worker, working with our Edmonton, AB warehouse client!

What You’ll Do:

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Ensure all orders are checked for correct products and quantities. Report any discrepancies
• Assisting team members as necessary
• Pick and pack products from the warehouse shelves onto pallets for internal and external customers according to the order sheets
• Other duties as assigned
• Perform daily safety check of equipment for safe operation before using
• Prioritize your orders according to date, or expected date for urgent orders
• Ensure all aisles are free from obstruction
• Load and unload with the product as required
• Prepare paperwork as required such as order labelling, transfer document and racking tracker

You will also be expected to…

• Walk, bend, and kneel constantly throughout the day
• Use a computer regularly
• Lift up to 50 lbs for up to 6-7 hours a day
• Have a strong attention to detail
• Operate pallet jack and forklift
• Work in a fast paced, busy warehouse
• Follow all health and safety protocols

Qualifications and Experience:

• Forklift experience preferred but not a requirement
• Excellent attention to detail, customer service, time management and organizational skills is required
• Great teamwork and team-building skills
• 2+ years of warehouse experience required
• Must pass Criminal Record Check if needed
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities; and
• Valid class 5 driver’s license required
• Safety-conscious
• Professional demeanor under stressful situations
• Self-directed and self-motivated
• Strong communication skills (both oral and written)
• Computer experience
• Punctual, dependable, and reliable

Experience:

• Warehouse: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Class 5 Driver's License and reliable vehicle to work (required)
