Position Title: Advanced Case Consultant
Reports To: Individual Insurance Sales Vice President, Central East
Department: Individual Life
Term: Permanent Full-Time
Location: Greater Toronto Area
Work Arrangements: 100% remote working is available for candidates across Canada.
The Opportunity: Equitable Life is looking for an Advanced Case Consultant (ACC) to join the Individual Life team!
This role will provide large case sales and marketing support to the wholesaling team, advisors, and distribution partners. The ACC builds large case awareness, capability, and expertise within the wholesaling sales team and the advisor community. In addition to supporting advisors already in this market, the ACC also works with advisors looking to move into the large case market. Working very closely with the Tax and Estate Planning Consultant, the ACC is the bridge between the wholesaler and the Tax and Estate Planning Consultant.

What you will be doing:
  • Meet and exceed large case sales targets through wholesaler collaboration
  • Case consultation with advisors through partnership and education
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with the sales team (wholesalers), advisors & distribution partners (MGA’s & WFG Accounts)
  • Provide market intelligence and competitive landscape
  • Deliver product and marketing seminars to wholesalers, advisors and distribution partners
What you will bring:
  • In depth knowledge of Equitable products and competitor products
  • Demonstrated industry qualifications such as CFP, CLU
  • Excellent communication and public speaking skills
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • 5 years minimum experience working with advisors and distribution partners in the mid-large case market
  • Deep sales process and sales cycle understanding
  • Strong understanding of advanced insurance and planning concepts
  • Excellent influencing, training and coaching skills
