Admissions Advisor (LatAm)

Position Summary

The ideal candidate profile for this position is someone who thrives in a dynamic, fast paced and driven environment; enjoys a challenge; consistently meets or exceeds expectations; possesses a strong customer service focus and a “can do” attitude.

The successful incumbent is responsible for the recruitment, screening and admissions support of domestic and international students to the College. He/she also works with Agents and the Global Admissions team at LCI Education on behalf of our international student base. This role is specifically focused on recruitment and admissions support of students from India, and closely surrounding regions.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Participate in admission and enrollment activities, including but not limited to, open houses, regional presentations, training sessions, orientation programs, and other related events
• Perform other related duties, as assigned
• Manage document collection for qualified candidates to complete the enrollment process
• Schedule and conduct telephone and in person interviews with prospective students
• Manage inquiries and respond in a timely manner
• Liaise with Agents regarding admission requests made for their recruited students
• Utilize the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database to assist with the admissions and application process
• Actively recruit domestic and international students
• Hold strong knowledge of college programs
• Exceptional EQ with the ability to read your market, and recruit students who are the right fit for our programs providing a meaningful educational experience

Knowledge

Job Requirements (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):

• Relevant and meaningful work experience in a related field while meeting specific and measurable objectives that contributed to the overall success of an organization
• A sincere interest in helping others achieve their life goals
• Must be able to communicate in Spanish
• Education in Administration, Sales, Communication or Business
• Previous experience working in an admissions or student recruitment environment

• Excellent written and verbal English skills, a second language preferred
• Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
