Assistant – Wealth Management
In this role, you will provide dedicated specialized administrative support to a Portfolio Manager on diverse assignments. This is a frontline role where your first impressions will leave lasting results on our business and customer experience.
This position reports to the Senior Portfolio Manager. More specifically, your role in the team will be to:
- Submit marketing pieces for approval (articles, newsletters, website).
- Manage the advisors’ agenda, book appointments and prepare documentation for client meetings.
- Closely monitor day-to-day transactions.
- Implement efficient procedures for the administration of client files.
- Open and update client files with all related documentation.
- Assist clients in the use of our digital banking services.
- Carry out all other related tasks.
- Provide clients with information on tax slips and other documents.
- Support the Portfolio Manager in providing superior customer service, including responding to clients’ inquiries by phone and email.
- Generate portfolio management reports.
- Familiarize and adhere to compliance requirements, including all aspects of new and existing account documentation and marketing materials.
- Carry out instructions such as deposits, withdrawals, and transfers and ensure a rigorous follow-up.
Job Requirements
- Be autonomous, energetic and disciplined
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships and work collaboratively, confidentially and independently
- Ability to adapt to change
- Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
- Organizational and priority management skills
- Two years of relevant experience in the banking, insurance and/or financial industry
- Completed College and/or Undergraduate degree
- Bilingualism (spoken and written) English and French
