Administrative Services and Logistics
STATUS: Full-time position (35 hours/week)
SUPERVISOR: Assistant to the Director of Administrative Services and Logistics
STARTING DATE: As soon as possible
Functions
Reporting to the Assistant to the Director of Administrative Services and Logistics, and working in a remote region, the incumbent performs tasks related to the management of human, financial and material resources, as well as procurement. The person is responsible for organizing work and planning the execution of complex administrative tasks, such as data collection and analysis.
The person may also be responsible for the administrative functioning of his/her environment, and oversees its internal and external relations. In particular, he/she organizes, plans and evaluates activities relating to goods in inventory, and ensures that they are properly received, stored and distributed to ensure supply. He/She will be required to travel to various Nunavik villages.
Qualifications
Must hold a Diploma of Collegial Studies (DEC) in General Administration or Clerical Technician or other appropriate college discipline from a school recognized by the appropriate department. In the absence of a candidate with a DEC, a candidate with a Secondary 5 diploma or an attestation of collegial studies in a related field (min 800hrs) may be considered as a Class 1 Administrative Officer. The applicable salary range will be that which corresponds to the candidate's level of education.
Minimum Of Three Years Experience In Complex Administrative Tasks
Knowledge of Health and Social Services network would be an asset
Knowledge of the following softwares; Office Suite, Excel intermediate
Knowledge of GRM software considered an asset
Ability to communicate well in French and English (spoken and written), Inuktitut is an asset
Sense of responsibility, customer service, analytical mind and organizational skills
Ability to work as part of a team under pressure and urgency context
Ability to adapt to a new culture and living environment
Availability to work weekends and on-call
Conditions And Benefits
SALARY : Min.: 847.35$ Max.: 1131.20$
ISOLATION PREMIUM : $203.66 /week
HIGH COST OF LIVING PREMIUM : $74.17 /week
RETENTION PREMIUM : $114.99/week
Any person recruited in Québec more than 50 kilometers from the locality in which she is called upon to perform her duties, will be granted trips and lodging unit (transit or shared lodging).
