The Job
You will:
- Coordinate with internal departments to carry out the duties, such as Veterinary Services, Procurement, Treasury and Human Resources
- Handle entries and all inquiries regarding the horse shows;
- Coordinate with customers to book and maintain riding lessons and other equestrian activities according to the riding instructor’s schedule;
- Perform the horse show secretarial role in co-coordinating all the administration work regarding horse shows including:
- Assist in the day-to-day operation of the reception counter and stable office, including:
- Handle customer enquires and waiting lists;
- Assist Chief Riding Instructor (PRS) for his routine meeting and coaching schedules
- Schedule the lessons for customers and training for staff.
- Maintain the inventory record of the Tack Shop and daily horse in/out record; and
- Provide on-site support in the course of show event; and order prizes and souvenirs for prize-giving ceremonies.
- Prepare relevant documents for horse shows, such as programme notice, time tables, result list, judges duties, course plans etc;
- Ad hoc duties assigned
- Liaise with St. Johns Ambulance, internal departments and other service providers;
- Prepare the agenda and minutes for the meeting
- Collect payment from customers and keep accurate transaction records.
- Arrange transportation and stables for horses from other riding schools;
- Liaise with external stakeholders to promote the equestrian activities, such as Hong Kong Equestrian Federation, Hong Kong Pony Club and Riding for the Disabled Association.
You should have:
- Tertiary education or above preferably with some background in business administration and sports management
- At least 2 years’ relevant working experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-minded and organized person
- Independent and responsible
