West Wawanosh, Mutual Insurance Company, is seeking a skilled Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in Goderich, Ontario. This is a full-time position with a flexible hybrid work arrangement option, allowing the successful candidate to work remotely for up to 2 days/per week after completing a 6-month training period in our physical office.
Reporting directly to the CFO, the Accounts Receivable Clerk will assist the CFO and Accountant in dealing with day-to-day activities within the administration and accounting department in an efficient manner.
Key Duties/Responsibilities
Strong organizational skills along with attention to detail, accuracy, data entry and time management
Effective communication skills, verbal and written
Must work well as part of a team and contribute to a positive work environment
Professional and courteous customer service skills
Strong computer literacy , and proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
Ability to adapt to changes in technology, processes and workflow
Ability to perform moderate mathematical calculations is required
Experience
Post-secondary education in the field of accounting or a related field
Prior accounting experience
Insurance industry knowledge would be considered an asset
