Accounts Receivable And Payable Administrator

A valued local client is seeking an Accounts Receivable and Payable Administrator. This full time position is based out of Bonnyville area and offers competitive wages and full benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, report and resolve errors/discrepancies or misapplied transactions
• Prepare financial statements and status of accounts
• Prepare invoices and ensure timely submission to clients
• Review all credit balances, refunds, and adjustments, and apply adjustments and/or corrections
• Ensure the strict confidentiality and privacy of financial records
• Contact clients, send out statements and provide customer service to ensure payment of invoices
• Code, total, batch, enter, verify and reconcile transactions such as accounts payable and receivable, payroll, purchase orders, cheques, invoices, cheque requisitions, and bank statements

Requirements

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
• Able to perform moderate to complex account reconciliations
• Demonstrated ability to accurately calculate, post, correct, and manage accounting figures and financial records
• Post-Secondary Diploma in accounting or equivalent is an asset
• Proficient with Accounting Software(s), and Excel and Microsoft Programs
• High level of flexibility and adaptability within a dynamic environment
• 2+ years of Accounting experience with working knowledge of payables and receivables is required
