Accounts And Audit Assistant

Recruit Moore have been approached by our client in Winchester to support them in finding an Accounts and Audit Assistant.

Your role will be preparing accounts to review stage and/or assist with audits.

Duties to include -

• Dealing with several accounts’ preparation jobs at any one time
• Accurately prepare accounts from client records for sole traders, partnerships, LLPs and limited companies
• Attending meetings at client premises where required
• Prepare a comprehensive file for manager review
• Assisting where necessary with the training of junior staff
• Updating of client profiles on the IRIS system
• Preparation of CIS Returns
• Preparation of VAT Returns

Requirements -

• Experience of Xero, QuickBooks, Sage Line 50, Excel, Word and Outlook
• Be proactive in dealing with clients
• To be familiar with audit procedures and have assisted on audits

Salary - £23,000 - £28,000

Hours - 37.5 per week

Hybrid - 2 days in the office required, one being a Wednesday. Equipment provided for home working.
