Overview An Accounts Assistant is responsible for providing financial, administrative and clerical services. This includes processing and monitoring financial transactions, maintaining financial records, and providing assistance to the accounting department. Detailed Job Description The Accounts Assistant is responsible for providing financial, administrative and clerical services. This includes processing and monitoring financial transactions, maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and providing assistance to the accounting department. The Accounts Assistant will also be responsible for reconciling accounts, preparing invoices, and managing accounts receivable and accounts payable. Job Skills Required• Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work with confidential information
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
• Previous experience in an accounting role
• CPA or CMA certification (preferred)

• Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Knowledge of financial reporting and analysis
• Knowledge of budgeting and forecasting
• Knowledge of accounts receivable and accounts payable
