Job Description
A fantastic opportunity has arisen within a leading Bolton-based manufacturing company for an experienced Accounts Assistant. The company boasts a long and successful history within its chosen sector and continues to grow yearly. The reason for the vacancy is down to the expansion of the already busy Accounts department.


You will be reporting into a knowledgeable Financial Controller who will support you in your personal and professional growth within the company and they will have a clear and concise career path mapped out for you.


This role will ideally suit someone who has a minimum of 2 years' experience and will also be working towards their AAT or other financial qualification.


Do you have any experience in: -


  • Any other Ad hoc Accountancy Administration
  • Preparation of month end reports and Journal Preparations
  • Processing of purchase ledger and sales ledger invoices
  • Credit Control
  • Preparation of payment runs.
  • Bank Reconciliations


The successful applicant will also: -


  • Be a good communicator.
  • Able to effectively multitask.
  • A basic knowledge of Excel
  • Have a keen eye for detail.
  • Work well within a team
  • 2 years' experience within a finance department
